ParaCamp began in September 2025 with a small group of 15 members dedicated to flying responsibly from various locations across the UK. Their inaugural trip took them from Lymington to Sandown, where they camped overnight and returned the next day. Founded by John Wood the group quickly grew as more aviation enthusiasts joined, all sharing a commitment to safety and adherence to aviation laws. Today, ParaCamp is a thriving community of like-minded individuals passionate about flying and adventure.
ParaCamp has since officially registered as a BHPA club, making it the only mobile BHPA club in the UK. This recognition has allowed the club to further promote safe and responsible flying while expanding its community of aviation enthusiasts. ParaCamp continues to thrive, offering unique adventures for its members across the country.

About Us
ParaCamp is the sole registered mobile events club in UK. As a group, we only permit BHPA-qualified flyers to be members of Para.Camp However, we also welcome non-BHPA members join, providing them the opportunity to transition to BHPA through alternative entry routes.
We strive to elevate your experiences with exclusive events, training opportunities, and special offers, including events in France featuring Paramotoring France.
